Richter Indy Publishing was started to fill the need to offer an affordable, fast way for authors to get their work available to readers in a professional format. If an author spends hundreds of dollars getting a book edited and proofed why not spend another hundred or two to have the book professionally published?

After seeing time, and again, well written and edited books published as either a POD or eBook looking very unprofessional because of poor formatting and layout we decided to take action.

Another aspect that can detract from an excellent book is amateurish cover design. Once again why not get a cover that helps sell the book instead of one that hurts sales?

Ultimately we decided to start a small publishing house that specializes in POD and eBook publication providing all the services that a new author needs to present a professional product to the public.
Artist, writer, self-publisher. Rick was a commercial and fine artist for 40 years before he began writing. Unhappy with the entrenched publishing industry, with authors sometimes waiting decades to get published, he quickly embraced the new opportunities the internet offered for publishing. He has written several fictional and two nonfiction books that are available both as PODs and eBooks.
